The divine inspiration came from an eternal soul of Shri Madan Mohan Rai who devoted most of the life to providing good education to the needy people beyond his working hour, for his received Best Teacher Award in the year 1989 at the hands of Shri. R. Venkat Raman, the then Hon’ble President of India. The Idea of serving people by imparting the knowledge in an organized way can be persuaded through an institution is a brainchild of Mrs. Meena Rai who dreamed about this while serving voluntary as a teacher in Arya Vedic School at Nairobi, Kenya, and to turn her dream into reality, she gathered the resources available with her and started with four children a Crèche and with the kind support of well-wishers, the Creche turned into Jack “N” Jill Kindergarten (Pre Primary section) at Good Luck Society, Gadge Nagar, Hingana Road Nagpur in the year 1999-2000
With the blessing of God and support of good, honest & hardworking teaching faculty the quality results produced which strengthened the trust of parents and the kindergarten laid the foundation of Rai English School (Primary Section) in the year 2000 at the same premises. With the increasing support of the parents and the positive motivation, the school developed into Rai English School (Secondary) in the year 2008-09 and Junior college (Higher Secondary) during 2011-12 (General & Bifocal) streams.
To provide easy access to the little beloved one who always played key roles in maintaining peace and harmony even at the cost of their lives Jack “N” Jill Kindergarten (Pre Primary Section) opened the branch behind SRPF Camp, Vaishalinagar, which helps to increase the strength from 4 in the session 1999-2000 to 1000 plus by the year 2012-2013
The school is recognized by the Govt. of Maharashtra and the State Board Curriculum is followed, however with the new trends, the curriculum of CBSE is also considered so as to provide wide knowledge & developed the personality of the students so that they meet the challenges of the new examination pattern implemented throughout the country.
